But sinceThe Golden Compassdoesnt even say the church once, the storys central metaphor becomes almost incomprehensible.
By contrast,The Golden Compassfocuses on children.
That is not how the book ends.
That moral grey area is not a balance Hollywood is good at striking, especially these days.
