The Promcelebrates 'first LGBTQ kiss' in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade history

The cast of BroadwaysThe Prommusical gave the LGBTQ community something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving Day.

The first #LGBTQ kiss in the Parades history, cast member Josh Lamon wrote on Twitter.

We here at @ThePromMusical have never been so proud.

They typically like to see a show that they know and love likeMy Fair Lady.

But then you have shows that are really relevant that are new to Broadway, likeMean Girls.

Sure, the same-sex kiss sparked homophobic remarks on social media, but it brought joy to many others.

We look forward to next year.
