Primarily set in 2049, Godspeed is a pretty interesting episode forPanabaker to make her directorial debut.
Its a callback tothe shows pilotand a nice showcase for Jessica Parker Kennedys impressive speed talking skills.
Unfortunately, Godspeed zaps Nora with a bolt of lightning and escapes with whatever he was trying to steal.

You know, like her father in the pilot.
So, Nora focuses her energies on catching Godspeed.
Unfortunately, the first visit doesnt yield any answers.

Thus, like her father, she was forced to watch a speedster kill someone she loved.
The loss doesnt end there, though.
In the wake of Lias death, Nora finally confronts her mother about the power dampener.
Both Parker and Candice Patton, sporting old make-up, played the scene rather beautifully.
With that realization, Nora jets off to ask for Thawnes help yet again.
So, Thawne coaches her through stopping Godspeed.
And that works and cements this newfound partnership.
Making a unilateral decision like that is very Oliver Queen of him, but not in a good way.
I loved how Panabaker shot their scene, with Barrys reflection clearly visible in the glass of Thawnes cage.
Im certain this isnt the last weve seen of the Reverse Flash.
