(Yeah, Sam doesn’t like it either.)

Dean says a quick hello to Jack and Castiel before heading to take a shower.

Cas naturally has questions, but unfortunately, Sam doesn’t have any answers at this point.

They’re not sure why Michael let him go or why Michael was helping monsters.

When Dean shows them his scar, the question becomes: What could hurt Michael like that?

And Dean wants answers, so he lets Cas read him.

The boys immediately suit up to head to Sioux Falls.

But Cas will be staying behind too.

When Cas is unable to heal her easily, he tells the boys to go along without him.

He’ll venture to catch up.

Just like that, the boys hit the road at 80 mph.

Dean’s back in the driver’s seat and he’s not wasting any time.

Sam asks his brother to slow down.

For Sam, Dean was gone for weeks; he needs a second to catch up.

But it’s clear Dean’s not interested in any of that.

And speaking of Claire, Jody is avoiding her.

Regardless, Dean wants to find her.

Jody tells Sam that Claire’s been doing well lately and she doesn’t want to mess it up.

And where Kaia is concerned, Claire is a “powder keg.”

But they don’t know how she got through the rift or how her weapon hurts Michael.

When Dean wants more answers and she’s not willing to give them, he gets aggressive.

She saw it because she is also a dreamwalker.

Her powers connected her to Kaia.

Bad Place Kaia then reminds Dean of when he visited her as Michael.

Speaking of which, three more vamps just showed up.

She then returns with her spear and decapitates all three vamps in no time.

Honestly, they should ask this girl to be on their side.

She’s got skills.

So just like that, Jody prepares to head home.

Jody says, “I feel like I already lost before I ever even began.”

He also tells his brother that it wasn’t a blink.

He doesn’t remember much of what Michael did because he was drowning the entire time.

He remembers what it felt like to fight for air.

So Jack sits by Laura’s bedside and hears her story.

(Also, Jack calling Castiel “one of” his dads is the cutest thing ever.)

Laura explains that she was a runaway.

She was sick of her school, her town, and her mom’s rules, so she left.

Castiel and Jules finally figure out the spell, but it doesn’t work.

He smashes the witch’s necklace and seconds later, Laura wakes up.

He saved the day even without his powers.

Cas tells him that he’s proud of him and suggests they all go on a hunting trip together.

He’s coughing up blood … and lots of it.

I’m really hoping she returns.
