And even when it seems like she may be moving toward the light, she pulls away.

We pick up exactly where we left off.

If thats not enough to point out how far shes gone, Im not sure what is.

She tells him he does need to deliver a message.

The message she wants to send to Fitz is to go home.

And Rowan delivers it.

And new-Sally-Langston-elect Curtis Pryce is tearing her up for it.

Even President Rashad is like, Hey, yall, is that a good decision?

but Mellie tells him to stay, and its questionable.

Its hard to tell how much is personal and how much is presidential here.

And for now, shes just kind of stuck with Quinn and Charlie.

Olivia and Jake come to a pretty clean conclusion on Bashran.

(Running the country as a soulless crazy woman?

Well, Olivia isthriving.)

When Liv asks what he told her, Fitz says, Everything.

Now lets take a moment to reflect: None of these people aregood.

If we think that any of these crazies are fully redeemable, then Lord help our souls.

But its nice to see Mellie and Fitz growing.

Olivia says that its what needed to be done, but Mellie isnt about that.

She shouts, SHUT IT DOWN.

Hell, she doubles down and insists, Now get me my war.

But Olivia isnt one to budge, simply saying, No bones for you.

And you could see hes pretty devastated.

Olivia is kind of gone at this point, and Rowan is not the only one who thinks so.

When Fitz sits down with Jake, Jake quickly concludes Olivia is a lost cause.

Fitz insists that theres no way that Jake can believe that, but reckon it’s he does.

With his good and bad qualities, he might be the only one able to save her.

But its still not enough to convince Mellie to forgive Olivia for the monstrous things shes done.

Glackland is on his phone while Cyrus tries to pull strings.

Hes just texting, right?

Well, Im a man who isnt so big that he cant admit when hes wrong.

Olivia asks him what he wants.

And thats when Cyrus peeks into the light a little bit himself.

He tells Liv that she can release her B613 people on him, but then what?

Whats the end game?

And its not a hateful orScandal-yspeech.

When he asks her why, she says shes not sure how she can be any more clear.

And thats when they kiss.

With that, he leaves.

Back at QPA, Quinn rolls in with Gettys Burger, making her the most relatable character these days.

It strikes something in Olivia, who takes off on her own.

We were all right!

Not the kind of kiss you give the Bashrani president in the Oval.

You know what, yall?

Im pretty pumped about where Cyrus and Glackland can go.

Olivia asks what shes saying.

Im not saying anything, Mellie says.

Olivia responds in the coldest of ways, Consider it handled, Madam President.

Which is a perfect segue to poor Yasmin.

She ran away, by the way.

In the midst of all this Bashran craziness, Yasmin took off from QPA to go find her girlfriend.

If she goes back to Bashran, they stand a chance.

So Yasmin agrees and heads back to Turkey with Rashad.

The goodbye at the base is pretty sweet, actually, and really sheds a light on Quinn.

Fitzs journey to redeem Olivia?

Well, its just going to have to wait.

But heres the big thing.

The explosive thing, really.

As Yasmin and Rashads plane takes off, it blows up.

And Quinn and Charlie are there to see it all.

Its awful, but youhaveto guess that Olivia is the one behind it.

Guys, its not handled.
