So that was not a difficult thing at all.
I had a really satisfying moment when we were reading the penultimate.
I find it exciting.
So I wasnt worried, Im very pleased to see that it worked the way we wanted to work.

I dont know if theres a particular storyline.
So I think Im most proud of our style of storytelling.

I felt we were coming to our end because weve told the stories I wanted to tell.
Weve told the canon of Olivia Pope in the way that I wanted to tell it.
So I dont feel like we have stories that we didnt get to tell that I wanted to tell.
On her broadcast TV legacy now that shes headingto NetflixIm not one to examine legacy, at this point.
I feel like Im still working.
I think I finished editing the finale on Friday and were not quite done yet.
Im not necessarily the person to ask about what my legacy is.
Im still doing it, so to me, I dont have that sense of anything.
Ive been incredibly fortunate.
On how shes personally preparing to say goodbye to Olivia andScandalIm fully in denial still.
Im trying really hard to stay in denial, but weve had a lot of our moments already together.
Weve had more goodbye dinners than anybody I know.
We are going to all be together on the night that it airs.
Weve become very close as a group of people.
Scandals series finale airs Thursday at 10 p.m.
