A few teaseshereandtherehave made way for this latest sneak peek at Disney/PixarsToy Story 4, due in theaters this summer.
The teaser which debuted on Super Bowl Sunday sheds light on what Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and the rest of their plasticine posse have been up to under the ownership of new kid Bonnie.
InToy Story 4, the gang hits the highway for a family road trip that exposes the toys to a world far beyond the playroom; along their travels, they encounter fresh-eyed carnival misfits and face an unexpected reunion with Bo Peep, whose life on the road has changed her drastically since her porcelain days in Andys bedroom.
For those keeping track,TS4isnt the first continuation of the story of the toys post-Andys Trilogy (as its been unofficially dubbed).
The characters life with Bonnie has lived on in various shorts: theToy Story Toonsseries (Small Fry,Hawaiian Vacation, andPartysaurus Rex), as well as the television specialsToy Story of Terror!andToy Story That Time Forgot.
Toy Story 4s voice cast includes returning players Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Annie Potts, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Blake Clark, the late Don Rickles, and Estelle Harris, as well as new cast members Keanu Reeves, Tony Hale (as craft-turned-toy Forky), Keegan-Michael Key (as Ducky), and Jordan Peele (as Bunny).
Toy Story 4arrives in theaters June 21, 2019, marking almost exactly nine years since the last film in the franchise, 2010s Oscar-winningToy Story 3.
