“That chapter’s been closed,” she explains.
“Everyone had their own reasons for trying to keep it relevant.
I’m not one of those people who dwells on things.
I keep it moving.
This album is about me and my life and my fans.”
The Grammy Awards used to appreciate all those differences, too.
“A lot of people don’t get a first chance in this industry,” she says.
“To get a second chance and be successful at it?
It’s a wonderful thing.
