It was really fun to do.
Its a lot less stress and pressure.
We know what were doing.
People respond to the show in such a positive way; lets proceed to be bigger and bolder.
I think the audience is also going to be excited to see Jess and I back together again.
We havent been back on TV in like a year!
You have Lupita Nyongo guest-starring in the season premiere.ROBINSON:She is everything.
She is so funny, and shes also a pretty good trash-talker!
You dont think of that when you think of her.
Id only heard really, really good things and that he was so nice and so sweet.
We spoke about reality TV.
When he came out, he was willing to play and talk and be silly.
That was really fun.
Especially since Ive spoken aboutHarry Potterso much on the podcast.
It rocked my world.
You announced last year the decision to end the podcast.
The podcast gained momentum, and we really struck a chord with a lot of people.
As a result, that made our careers take off in ways that we wouldnt necessarily predict.
It made us crazy-busy in a way neither of us saw coming.
Ive written two books, interviewedMichelle Obamaon tour;Jess is inFantastic Beasts.
All these amazing opportunities that came from2 Dope Queens.
And ending the podcast with us interviewing Michelle Obama you cant really top that!
Who are you going to interview after Michelle Obama?WILLIAMS:It feels very full-circle.
Now Phoebes got a lot going on.I also have a lot going on.
Its nice to have the flexibility to be able to do the HBO episodes and seasons.
We have about five days that we take to go and record these specials.
And also to have celebrity guests with every episode.
You get the best of the podcast in HD.
And we have great makeup and hair!
This is a new chapter.
Theyre all brilliant and funny.
Ive grown up feeling very other and different.
Especially in comedy, youre told everyone wants what theyve already seen before.
Our show, the way that weve done it hasnt quite been done this way.
We want it to feel like its celebratory of the human experience.
It wasnt just us.
