Well, this was a strange episode ofTitans. Instead, we spend all our time this week exploring the backstory ofHawk and Dove. Let me just come out and say that the first flashback scene is extremely unpleasant. One day, this coach spotted Hank’s younger brother, Don, cheering him on from the stands. It should be clear by now that “weight room” is a euphemism for the worst thing imaginable. Years later, when the boys are in college, Hank is still excelling as a football star....

Well, I really enjoyed this episode. We open with a flashback to something that happened in the Congo two years ago. Each episode ofTitansso far has gradually expanded the scope and depth of this new DC Universe. While there, she runs afoul of some cops, but theyre no match for an energy-powered alien. She was hoping Rachel could cut through her amnesia and tell her who she is. Credit: DC Universe The Nuclear Family is forced to return home empty-handed and one man short. Hes ready to decommission them for failure, until the daughter asks him whats so important about Rachel anyway....

Good icebreaker for the team, though! Last up is Rachel, who is understandably nervous about even slightly unleashing her dark power. That ends the training session, since Dick refuses to do a demonstration of his own. When Gar asks what he can do, Dick responds simply, I keep you alive....

In Dicks opinion, everything Bruce ever does is only ever meant to serve his own interests. But keeping the former Robin safe is not the only reason that the new Robin has shown up.
