The real stars ofThe Proposal, however, are the women. Whats impressive aboutThe Proposalis how transparent it is about its contempt for the contestants. ABC Nowhere is this more apparent than with this introduction: Say hello to Kendal Maxwell....

Like, do you even remember the significance of the quote above? What happened in Daredevil season 2? His motivation for this crazy crusade? His entire family (wife and small children) was murdered, apparently in a shootout between rival gangs. There are consequences to killing! After escaping the Irish mob, Frank is arrestedby Sgt. Brett Mahoney, who you might see again very soon. Not the best way to defend yourself! Obviously, he didn’t....

And the other thing with Frank is, you have to give him a reason to fight....

Frank and Billy meet to settle scores, once and for all And so weve come to the end. Lewis Wilson is dead, his desperate cry for help still woefully unheard by society. Billy is doing better, although he still suffers from thinking hes way cooler than he actually is. Credit: Netflix See: Him walking away from that explosion behind him and thinking it was badass rather than pathetically cliche. Once theyre both back on their feet, Frank and Billy immediately set about finding each other....

Well, Cold Steel aims to explain how Billy has gotten to this point. As to whether it succeeds, well, thatll probably vary from person to person. (It didnt totally work for me.) The man ended up breaking his arm. Unfortunately, his fight to keep Anvil is complicated by all of his personal connections....

Having killed OConnor, Lewis cleans himself up and heads back home. His dad tries again to comfort him, but unfortunately Lewis now has bigger problems than bad dreams. Overwhelmed by guilt over killing OConnor, Lewis goes into the basement and shoves the gun in his mouth. Credit: Nicole Rivelli/Netflix Ultimately he takes it out, but its clear his life will still be full of struggle. Lewis will need to do the same so you can navigate a post-battlefield life....

Frank fights off an attack as everyone gets ready for the endgame Finally, Frank knows the truth. But like…thats your fault, Dinah! Arent you supposed to be a top Homeland investigator? Credit: Nicole Rivelli /Netflix You fell for a guy whose whole shtick screams IM EVIL, and now youre mad you got played? Not how it works. Its a wonder anybody trusts Dinah with anything. But its actually way worse than that. Hes not wrong, and I love how this episode challenges the whole vigilante idea. Frank certainly doesnt like his comparison. Credit: Netflix Unfortunately for Lewis, this is something of a tell. He likes using the phrase so much, both Frank and Curtis realize hes the bomber. (Recap continues on page 2) Curtis makes his move first. He also finds the bomb-making equipment and Lewis himself!...

Micro doesnt think it was a good idea to let Dinah Madani learn Frank is still alive. Frank responds by mocking Micros family situation, saying Sarah probably doesnt even want him back. Soon, Dinah turns things around and asks how Karen got so connected to Frank Castle. Credit: Nicole Rivelli/Netflix After talking with Dinah, Karen goes to see the man himself. But Karen pushes back when Frank declares his intention to kill the people responsible for what happened to them....

You want justice, cause you havent found out yet that theres no such thing, says David. What hes witnessed since teaming up with Frank has finally broken his faith in the system. Hes reached the same point as Frank. Credit: Netflix The Anvil men manage to capture Frank, but David appears to get shot and killed in the crossfire. (Spoiler alert: Davids not dead. He later wakes up back at the Homeland Security office and is reunited with his family....
