Kara finally unloads on Mon-El, and Sam discovers her killer side Hey,Super-fans! Long time, no recap! First, lets catch up with Lena and Sam. She even tosses Supergirl into the arcade game where Kara held the high score. Yep, Im sure nothing will go wrong with that!...

His real name is Querl Dox, but his fellow Legion of Super-Heroes call him Brainy. (Gotta love that this is still an expression in the 31st century!) She and her mom are engaged in a Nerf gun war. Jonn suggests they invoke the Sundown Protocol, designed to take out Superman if he goes rogue....

But Kara didnt sign up for drunken verbal abuse, so they go to bed angry. At school, history teacher Mr. Bernard has to pull an Earth to Ms. Danvers (ha!) to bring Karas attention back to class, where Alex shows her up with all the answers. This debate drives the conflict between Kara and Imra this week while Alex and Winn fight for their lives. (Amusingly, Winn recognizes both him and the tech hes using immediately.) But she also warns Kara that she doesnt know what shes up against. Imra doesnt look convinced....

Truly, they are #SisterGoals. Then Kara tells her new besties that she couldnt have gotten through the year without them....

Then he looks outside and locks eyes with a woman standing on the wing before she launches into flight. She gives Samantha a pamphlet and invites them to join their community. Recognizing a religious symbol from Krypton, she takes it and decides to hit the meeting. James and Winn tag along to soak up the creepy cult vibes....

The episode opens with morning routines. Alex and Maggie share morning kisses and jewelry commercial-ready shots of their engagement rings. Samantha nudges her sleeping daughter awake. Rubys more interested in how her mom lifted that tower off of her at the waterfront....

Mon-El returns to Earth changed, while Samantha goes through some changes of her own Mon-Els back, everybody! And hes really, really bad at delivering pertinent information in a timely fashion. This story line makes my heart happy, and I hope we return to it often....

But then the Bravik hes protecting is injured and accidentally shoots one of his arm spikes into Bens chest. Credit: The CW I didnt mean to! the alien cries as Supergirl and Alex race in to stop the fight. Alex patches Ben up and says his workers were lucky that Supergirl went easy on them....

Episode 2 ended with the Monitor urging Dr. Deegan to think big, and he did, all right. Its just one word, Superman, Barry hero-splains....

Gotta say, thats a well-designed supervillain plan! She wakes up and starts to apologize, but Alex stops her and plucks Lexs letter from the desk. He closes with a threat to kill Lena if she pursues him, as all good sibling letters do.
