The other thing that feels compelling about this plotline is that there really isnt an answer to Alisas problems. Her life was ruined by a car crash but she didnt much like her life before the crash. Nevertheless, her life has become a tornado of pain and death. Credit: Netflix How to fix it? She ends up arriving (through a window) at the exact same time as her daughter. Jessica had warned the police to stay back, saying that only she could talk her mother down....

If theres one thing Im tired of in superhero properties, its story lines that revolve around parents. We get it: Parents screw their children up in many ways! Youre a bad plan!) Honestly, its fairly easy to understand why Jessica is so torn about what to about her mother....

Detective Costa ends up finding evidence that Jessica is telling the truth, so he releases her. The quick clean job was courtesy of Malcolm, who actually got some information out of Inez.
