Her charming real-life husband, Josh Dallas, chimes in: Yeah, youre fired after this week.
Until we meet again.
Im really proud of what weve created over the last seven years.

Jack Rowand/ABC
I feel very complete with her, I feel like shes reached her happy ending in this episode.
I accepted it, and its time to move on.
How does it feel to have the story come full circle? It was so beautiful.
Yeah, it does.
And its in the same location.
Im happy for her.
But Im happy with where her happy ending is at.
Im fortunate to have been able to portray her for seven years.
I know for sure that our audience has learned a tremendous amount from her.
I feel honored to have played her all these years.
This show is about hope, but its also about family and friendships and love.
That is something thats very positive.
But we keep saying here, God, it feels like the end of senior year in high school.
I think the show really resonates with my fans as well, especially Reginas fans.
I was never a crazy fairy-tale fan growing up.
But I see the positive message and the mottoes and the lessons that can come out of them.
And so I think I would definitely carry those fairy tales forward in my life.
Anything you wish you wouldve done differently on the show? No, actually, not at all.
Im really proud of what Ive created with her.
I feel like she was such a colorful character.
Gold/ Weaver/Rumple [Robert Carlyle], where hes headed, theres some closure there.
Its actually quite beautiful to see what happens with this character, its quite moving.
And the same with Regina.
I think the last seven years has been: What is her happy ending going to be?
And she gets there.
So it feels like all these characters are wrapping up.
With Colin [ODonoghue], Hooks character, we get to see two versions of Hook.
And we already know one is happily married with Emma and baby.
And are we going to see each other again?
He is the darkest version of Rumple weve ever encountered.
He wants to take away everyones possibility of a happy ending.
Thats disheartening, and so hard to go up against because hes extremely powerful.
Collectively, were all trying to figure out how to take him down.
Whats next for you afterOUAT?Well see.
It would be nice to take some time off for a minute.
Obviously were keeping our eyes open for the next project.
I think what I want to do is just go home.
I miss home, I miss my family, my friends.
Its been a long time being away from home.
Ive been homesick for seven years.
Ive missed a lot over the years.
Im excited to spend some quality time with all the people that Ive loved my whole life.
Seven years is better than two, its better than five, so Im really proud of us.
I love it, and it will always be a part of my heart.
