We dont get to see a startled Gibbs all that often, and his jumpy cat reaction is priceless.
Phil says he did leave a message for Gibbs with some British guy.
Then he asks for Gibbs help in finding the attempted murderers.

And since he was never officially NCIS, his picture wont be on their memorial wall.
But theyve all got a job to do, so they carry on.
This starts with Torres creating a distraction for Marcy while Gibbs sneaks Phil out of the basement.
Aww, I like her!
Then Coast Guard investigator Amanda Graham arrives with evidence in Phils case, demanding to know what NCIS knows.
McGee and Kasie lamely claim its just a hunch, but Graham vows to keep digging, too.
They even had to borrow money to make the model.
As is his wont, Torres suggests going undercover to investigate.
Well, nobody except one Jimmy Palmer.
It infuriates the broke, angry developers.
Parks also has an on-the-links phone conversation assuring someone not to worry because he died in a boating accident.
Wow, thats bad murderer behavior.
Wheres your undercover stealth now, Nicky?
Before he can answer, Bishop interrupts with the news that Coast Guard investigator Graham has been shot dead.
When Phil appears in Gibbs living room, Marcys shocked.
Grahams body arrives in the morgue, and Ducky mourns having two agents in two weeks on his table.
Then Palmer finds a blood-soaked piece of paper in her breast pocket.
As he leaves the lab, Gibbs pauses to ask Kasie her favorite drink.
Gibbs makes an enigmatic Gibbs face and exits.
Parks cooly says they have no proof.
Parks didnt question the attempted part of that statement, which means he knows Phil didnt actually die.
But my point still stands!
McGee asks the question that Sloane asked him earlier: Why did they became agents?
Then Kasie arrives and is delighted to hear that they caught the bad guy.
She steps out to call her mom to tell her that her little Kay-Kay made a difference!
I just remembered why I became an agent, McGee says.
And then Gibbs arrives with a new case, telling them to grab their gear.
