I was coming off of another movie and I promised myself Id only do one a year.
But they were like, listen, its Kate McKinnon and its an action comedy.
And I went oh, f— me, all right Ill do it.

And then I moved my family to Europe for three months."
Kunis:“Kate and I were doing all of our own stunts.
Ive done action before, but Ive always had to pretend like I was good at the action.

Hopper Stone/SMPSP
This was the first time where I didnt have to pretend that I was good at anything.
It made life easy and very honest.
Milas a much better action movie star than I am!”

McKinnon:“I think the interrogation scene was the funniest to film.”
Kunis:“Yeah, that scene!
And we didnt know ahead of time what they were I wanted to be surprised.

And Kate wrote some of hers, so I was like, write me some!
So it was kind of a mish-mash.
I was literally in tears crying.”

Kunis:“On the roof!”
McKinnon:“Our screams were real!”
Kunis:“We were convinced that nobody was actually driving.

Lionsgate
Just watch Kates face and know that the fear in her eyes was true.
It was horrifying.”
Kunis:“Kate did the Cirque du Soleil sequence all by herself because shes super badass.”

McKinnon:“Oh, Mila, youre so sweet.
I did not do that all by myself, there was a bevy of stuntwomen for that.
But I did give a shot to do a bunch of it and… it hurt!

Hopper Stone SMPSP/Lionsgate
Its tough to hold yourself on a bar like that, even if something else is holding you up.
I was like, what have I done with my life that my arms are made out of cloth?
I have nothing going on up here.

Lionsgate
I have to change course a little bit for myself.”
Kunis:“I was in tears crying every day in that movie.
I laughed a lot.

Lionsgate
I had the best time.
I broke [character] all the time.
I was like, ‘Im gonna allow myself to enjoy this.’

Hopper Stone SMPSP/Lionsgate
It was great.”
McKinnon:“I had the best time too!
I had the best time because I was really learning a ton from Mila.
Sorry, I was!”
McKinnon:“I love you!
Kates really nice, you guys.”
Kunis:"[The guys in the movie] were great sports.
Everybody was great, Hasan [Minhaj] was great.
Kate and Sam, I feel like, had a love affair of sorts."
McKinnon:“Of sorts!”
Kunis:“Its because youre so similar.
I feel like theyre the same human, just ones taller than the other.”
McKinnon:“Well, I am Scottish.
Thats very flattering of you to say, Mila, because hes literally the worlds most beautiful man.
But yeah we had a little Scottish recognition.
We are one people and it was exciting.”
McKinnon:“I learned too much from Mila.
And I was like, oh yeah thats right!
I have so much respect for this woman truly.”
Kunis:“Oh my God, Kates the greatest human ever.
Although I cant say that Ilearnedthat, because I dont know that its a learned skill.
But I admire that skill in her so much.”
McKinnon:“Mila and I both love food, I think to an equal measure.
But the desire to just go sit in silence and eat was so strong.
And we respected that in one another, which allowed us to stay sane.”
Kunis:“You remember the first couple of weeks we traded lettuce?
We kept going, I found spinach, I have kale!”
McKinnon:“Oh my God, yes!
Because we couldnt find kale or spinach.
And she got me some on the black market and brought me this fantastic offering.”
Kunis:“Its very rare there.
That to me was a very strong bonding moment.”
McKinnon:“It was so beautiful.
I think you brought me arugula, maybe, or was it spinach?
And I brought you some kale.
And then we were off to the races.”
