Someone is stalking Jessica and Trish as they both investigate their pasts
Here we are, back again!
Ill be handling the even-numbered episodes this round, which means Im starting off with the 55-minute second episode.
Thats right folks, 55 minutes!

This is only the second episode, too!
But they havent yet.
Anytime shes on screen, even when shes dealing with subpar writing or silly ninja plots, Im engaged.
Well see more of that before the episode ends.
Malcolm soon calls Jessica with a lead on Kozlov, the IGH doctor who likely experimented on her.
Someone there tells her that it was a freak accident, a random car crash.
Random accidents sure seem to keep happening to people connected to IGH, dont they?
He reveals that Simpson is still alive before someone else shows up to kick Jessica out of the funeral.
Seems they dont like guests starting fistfights?
Meanwhile, Trish is doing some investigative work of her own.
Little does Trish know that Simpson is following close behind her.
Given that the evidence suggests superpowered involvement, they suspect Jessica.
But certainly one interesting thing about this season so far is highlighting how many people are complete aholes.
Its not just Jessica.
For example, Trish goes to confront Max on the set of his new film.
Im glad that the show is leaning into this.
More importantly, shes alone in the dark at an abandoned movie studio.
Thats when Simpson approaches her.
Jessica found out that Trish and her mom are talking again, and shes not happy about it.
After a bitter back-and-forth, Trishs mom gives the location of the movie studio.
Things are getting interesting.
Case Notes:
-Man, what was the point of the Jeri storyline in this episode?
