Thats right, folks: Tritons back!
You might be asking, whos Triton?
And, well, you should!

The answer is that hes a green fish-man played by Mike Moh.
Turns out it was the latter!
But hey, Im not an alien royal, so what do I know?
Im just saying, I dont blame any viewers who have no memory of this character.
In the meantime, Im not even the only one mad about Tritons fake-out.
Medusa is also angered to learn that her husband has been lying to her.
As the Triton debacle shows, this shows plotting and pacing is rather confused.
Literally, what is the point of making a show about Medusa without using her hair?
Its like, I dont know, making anInhumansshow where Black Bolt never uses his voice.
Medusas argument definitely gets the edge in this specific situation.
Nevertheless, the deposed king vows that the next time he and his brother meet, hell kill him.
It doesnt appear to work, and the two of them flee before Maximus and his cohort arrive.
But at least Maximus plans arent any better than Karnaks.
Not great, Bob!
Hes good with fisticuffs too, and in short order beats the crap out of Maximus.
But it turns out he does have one last failsafe.
When Black Bolt arrives, Maximus says that he installed a rig that will destroy Attilan if hes killed.
No way to know if hes bluffing or not, but for now, Black Bolt holds back.
Im sure Medusa will be happy with that.
Last week, I complained aboutInhumansusing its primary black character as the plots sacrificial lamb.
Guess well see how it all comes together next week!
