“There was a family that was slaughtered in the lighthouse,” Chizmar says.
“The lighthouse keeper, his wife, his son, and his daughter.
That doll belonged to his daughter, and she was sensitive to what was going on inside there.”
(She’s also Sheffer’s real-life daughter with actress Gabriel Anwar.)
Or maybe this is a time after.
“She’s pretty bloody, but also decayed,” Chizmar says.
And part of her still resides at the abandoned structure.
