And I mean sooooooooo far.

Like Virginia to Texas far.

But there he was finally forced to stop and stay awhile.

The character crossing over fromThe Walking DeadtoFearTWDeventually met up with two new potential allies, John and Althea.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: We knew Morgan was crossing over.

Still, how much fun was that?

So it was a slightly odd undertaking, but it was a lot of fun.

But you know, like I said, it was a lot of fun.

People came over to visit just to see what was going on.

Whats his plan here?

Where or what is he running to at that point?

Or is he just running away?I dont think hes running to anything.

If hes running to anything, what hes running towards is just solitude.

And hes just gonna keep going.

And so that protect them and so that protect himself I think he has to put distance.

So its much more that hes running, walking, driving, away.

That very first scene, Garret Dillahunts John is talking into the woods, because he hears something.

What do you think Morgans intent is there before John sees him?

And even after John takes out the walker, Morgan says his intention very clearly.

He says, Im just passing through.

And its his intention to just pass through.

This is what he does.

So its like, go help people, but build no relationships whatsoever? In a way, yes.

If you come across people, and you might do something to help them, help them.

But dont get involved with them.

Dont join up with them.

Dont bond with them.

Dont care about them too much.

And John is just the opposite.

Hes a Chatty Cathy here.

Hes clearly been lonely and hes looking for someone to connect with.

Because we were all arriving new in this environment and we kind of looked after each other.

So that was absolutely glorious.

Yeah, he could do without both of them.

But they do have a way about them.

Is that how you feel talking to me, Lennie?

Is that what its like when we chat? You know what?

I couldnt possibly comment.

No, not necessarily.

But there have been moments, Dalton, Im not gonna lie.

You guys are filming the back half of the season now.

So thats still part of my working day.

Bringing together a new crew.

Its still getting settled, but were having a lot of fun getting it done.

And weve seen him say that onThe Walking Deadand it proved to not be so sustainable.

Or whether it does or it doesnt.

We have this confrontation in the road at the end of the episode.

And thats gonna be revealed over the coming episodes and over this season.

Everybodys gone through a slight transformation.

Fear the Walking Deadairs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
