The rock and roll pioneer died peacefully, his daughtertoldregional CBS affiliate WWL-TV Wednesday morning.
Many designate The Fat Man as rocks first million-selling single.

Among them was Dominos biggest smash, Blueberry Hill, which reached No.
2 on the Hot 100.
Considering the eras racially fraught politics, Dominos music took on a broader significance.
He was ambivalent as a pioneer of the genre, though.
He continued to rack up accolades, however.
