Father of the Brideactor teases third film: 'I know there's a script'

Now it’s just about getting the cast back together.

George Newbern says that were one step closer to a thirdFather of the Bridemovie.

The last film,Father of the Bride Part II, was released back in 1995.

Charles Shyer wrote a script.

I know theres a script out there.

And theres talk,Newbern told Us Weekly.

So maybe thats just a question of that happening.

Diane Keaton co-starred as Martins wife and Martin Short memorably played wedding planner Franck Eggelhoffer.

Both of the actors, along with the films main trio, returned for the sequel in 1995.

The sequel ended with Bryan and Annie moving from California to Boston after the latter accepted a job there.
