Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) has some unfinished business in the post-credits scenes attached toDeadpool 2.

It has nothing to do with some of the other baddies who pop up.
It has everything to do with the jankyX-Menmovie timeline.
Suffice it to say, there are a few inconsistencies.

So Deadpool goes back in time to save … Peter?
Meanwhile, it seems everyone else is still dead.
Wade, however, has even bigger fish to fry.
“I was already attached to theDeadpoolmovie.
We hadn’t at that point written a script yet,“he recalled to EWin 2016.
And I just said, ‘I’ll do it, but it’s the wrong version.
Deadpool isn’t correct in it.'”
That’s when the Deadpool ofDeadpool 2pops in.
“He and Ryan arefrenemies, you know, online, and in the public.
Reynolds, in real life, has constantlymocked himselffor making that movie.
“I’ve never seen the full final version ofGreen Lantern,“he said recently.
“I saw a very late stage rough cut of the film.
Director David Leitch and his team toyed with using other end-credit codas, including one involving Chris Evans.
“And then Chris was going to say, ‘we all have our pasts’.
We just decided the time machine was the funniest angle.”
