“It was like the bridge between Panorama City and Hollywood,” explains Pardo, 38.
“I just remember constantly going over Mulholland, making the trip a lot of actors make.

It did and in so many extraordinary ways.

But when the opportunity came along to headlineMayans M.C.
“I just wanted to be a part of it.
It was just this monster,” Pardo recalls.

“I really just had the heart,” he says with a smile.
“There was nothing about me that screamed biker.
I was probably 150 pounds at the time.

I just had on these jeans, boots, and T-shirt.
I saw everybody else showing up looking hardcore and of that world.
That just wasn’t me.
I knew that going in.
He said, ‘Let’s see what you got.’
It was the smartest thing I’ve ever done in my life, I’ll tell you that.
Something said, ‘Stay, do it now.
Don’t wait.’
I did it.”
“I was eating 7,000 calories a day,” recalls Pardo.
“It was painful.
I didn’t like it at all but I had fear as a motivator.
And there was an upside at least for his ogle-eyed fans.
“I just knew it was a matter of time before I had to do something like that.”
