Who survivedArrows veryWalking Dead-like cliffhanger?

Read our full interview with Guggenheim below.

But be warned: He really will not reveal who survived, no matter how hard we try.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: What themes willArrowbe exploring this season?MARC GUGGENHEIM:The theme is family.

So much ofArrowlives in the challenges and trials that we put the characters through.

Lets talk about the cabal of villains coming in.

Is Black Siren part of this cabal?I dont want to say.

Cayden James?I dont want to say.

Straight up, I know its hard to talk about season 6.

I feel the pain of thoseWalking Deadfolks.

How can Oliver operate as the Green Arrow this season considering he was made Public Enemy No.

1 last year?Honestly, I think theres a good argument to be made thathe cant.

I dont think its a foregone conclusion that, at least for us, he can.

Oliver and Felicity seemed on the road to recovery.

There is not a single romantic kiss between any two characters in the season premiere.

I think it would be very schizophrenic for us to suddenly take them off that trajectory.

Lets talk Black Siren.

We dont know much about her life on Earth-2 other than she lost her version of Oliver.

Weve talked about, like, do we do a flashback?

The thing is, weve really taken to just calling her Laurel, because this is Laurel.

Its just a different Laurel than the one we knew for four years.

Youve teased aSlade Wilson-centric flashback.

For us, its when its appropriate.

Were really doing it on an episode by episode basis.

Theres no way you really killed everyone.

If I said Thea, you would say?Dead.

Honestly, I dont know how to do that without giving anything away.

We come in, its five months later.

But there are people on the island that seem more obvious that actually died, like Artemis.Oh, no.

I wouldnt assume that.

It wasnt the motivation behind us telling the story of the season premiere.

I always say season 5 is not required viewing for season 6.
