Director Drake Doremus confirmed Saturday at the films world premiere in New York City that Amazon Primehas purchased North American rightsto the sci-fi romance.

Amazons move comes as the first major acquisition of the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, where the likes of Sarah Jessica ParkersBlue Night, Tessa ThompsonsLittle Woods, and Mary Elizabeth WinsteadsAll About Ninaare also slated for world premiere screenings ahead of securing global distribution deals.
